The Himachal Tourism Tourist Lodge at Manali, provides inexpensive accommodation to those traveling on a budget.

The dormitory is located on the banks of river Beas and is only a few hundred meters away from the Mall road and Bus depot.

Accommodation is only available on dormitory basis and each room has four beds. Cost of a bed in dormitory is Rs. 75, which is a boon for travelers traveling alone on a budget. Rooms are relatively clean and provide the view of Beas. Parking for motorcycles is located right in front of the lodge, while cars can be parked right opposite it in a dedicated parking lot.

The only downside is the fact that it is located next to a bridge which rattles when ever a vehicle crosses it, so it might not be a good choice for those with light sleep.
